400g lean minced beef
1 tablespoonful (15ml) chopped parsley
2 teaspoonfuls (10ml) each of fresh, chopped, basil, marjoram, thyme and sage
1 teaspoonful (5ml) soy sauce
2 eggs
1 onion, grated
¼ cup soft breadcrumbs
2 tablespoonfuls (30ml) butter
breadcrumbs as required, salt and pepper to taste
then...
1 Sauté the onion in butter until golden and add to the meat, herbs, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce and salt and pepper. Mix together in a large bowl.
2 Flatten into hamburger shapes and barbeque until cooked through.
