A Herb Spiral D.I.Y.
All you have to do now is water regularly, weed occasionally, and once the herbs are well established use them. If one plant grows too big, cut it back and dry the leaves or whatever part you have taken, put in an airtight container, and store. You do lose some freshness this way, but it is nice to have some homegrown herbs in the middle of the winter.
