Traditional Uses

The flowers of red clover has traditionally been found useful for treating bronchitis and whooping cough because of its ability to loosen phlegm and soothe the respiratory system.

It has also been used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Current uses

It is now being studied for the treatment of menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, and, as such, is being considered a possible effective natural substitute for hormone replacement therapy
